Worship Wonders
We are a group of ten pupils, representing all the children in school, who meet together to discuss, help plan and evaluate worship in our school and services at St Luke’s Church which we attend. We also think about Timothy, the little boy from Uganda who we sponsor as a school and think of ways in which we can raise money to support him. We want to do this because we want to be more like Jesus and we want to live by Christian Values in our school. We share what we have talked about in our meeting with the rest of our classes so that everyone in school is involved.
We have recently met as a team discuss setting up prayer spaces around school. This is something as a team, we are really passionate about and can’t wait to develop. This year, working alongside Miss Bentley (RE Lead) we will be setting up an outside prayer garden and will be looking at how we can develop the reflection spaces we have around school in order to achieve the School/Church Partnership 2 Award.
We are proud to be Worship Wonders and look forward to the busy year ahead!
